Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a T regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
IS 5th day of June , 1978 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, CounCilmembers Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth
The following members were absent: councilmember seibold
Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved Its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78-320
AUTHORIZING 1977 BUDGET FUNDS TO CONDUCT SEARCH FOR POLICE CHIEF
WHEREAS, the Police Chief is planning on retirement on or about January 1,
1979, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager contemplates the need to undertake a search for
a new police chief using the services of a professional placement firm to
be approved by this Council, and
HWEREAS, the City's 1977 Budget did not anticipate expenditures for such
a search;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
IDPLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the 1977 Burnet be amended authorizing the expending
Of up to $10,000 to conduct such a search.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote n favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils
and Spaeth
