Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, ameeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesot was held on the
5th day of June , 1978 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, _Council tubers Hovt. Neils and Spaeth
The following members were absent: Councilmember Seihold

Counncilmgmber Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78-319
1977 BUDGET ENCUMBRANCE CARRIED FORWARD TO 1978 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City had budgeted for certain expenditures (under its 1977 budget
as contained in Exhibit A, hereto, and
WHEREAS, such expenditures had not been incurred as at the close of business on
December 31, 1977, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary, proper, expedient and in the
general interest and welfare of the citizens of the City of Plymouth to incur
such expenditures.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the City Finance Director is hereby authorized to encumber such
items as charges against the City's 1977 Budget and establish a reserve for
encumbrances against which such expenditures shall be charged when actually
incurred.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
and upon vote being taken thereon, the

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
