Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, M nnesota was a on t e
22nd day of May , 19 78. The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt Councilmembers Hot Neils and Seibold
The follow ng me ers were absent: Councilmember Spaeth
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78-307
APPOINTING NEW PUBLIC HEALTH OFFICER
FOR THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH FOR 1978
WHEREAS, certain municipal functions and responsibilities require the
services of a public health officer; and
WHEREAS, Plymouth's present Health Officer has expressed his desire to
be relieved of these duties; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Thomas Mayer of St. Louis Park Medical Center has offered
his services for this purpose; and
WHEREAS, the appointment of Dr. Mayer as Public Hea'th Officer will
serve the best interests of the community:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does appoint Dr.
Thomas Mayer as Public Health Officer for the City of Plymouth for
the remainder of the calendar year 1978.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Hoyt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vo e n favor thereof: Mavor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils
