The following members were present: Mayor ul�n ounc m_embers"Hoyt,Veils and Seibold The following members were absent: rnnnrJ1mAmhPr Spapth ,tart *tt *tt Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its a opt on: RESOLUTION NO. 78-302 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - BURL OAKS ADDITION (A-792) WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Lundgren Bros. Construction, Inc. requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Burl Oaks Addition development. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Burl Oaks Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on May 22, 1978, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100' of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as propo_Qd or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of thy, improvement as recommended.
