HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1978-2730 CITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, M nnesota was held on the 15th day of May , 19 7L. The following members were present: Mayor H rNeils. The following me members were a sent: None Councilmember Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION #78-273 APPROVING SITE PLAN/GENERAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR MAPLE GROVE SHOPPING CENTER FOR MENDOTA, INC. (A-528) WHEREAS, Mendota, Inc. has requested site plan/General Development Plan approval for Maple Grove Shopping Center, consisting of a portion of the parking lot for said center within the corporate limits of the City of Plymouth, located north of County Road 10 and east of Highway 494; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommended approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does, approve the request of Mendota, Inc. for site plan/General Development Plan approval for Maple Grove Shopping Center, consisting of a portion of the parking lot for said center within the corporate limits of the City of Plymouth, located north of County Road 10 and east of Highway 494, subject to the following conditions: 1. Compliance with the related design conditions of the preliminary plat. 2. Approval of a final plat and development contract covering the subject site as well as dedication of and improvements to Sycamore and Quinwood Lanes and County Road 10. 3. Approval of the City of Maple Grove of all necessary plats, site plans and building permits for the Maple Grove Center. 4. Provision of site plan improvements security per the Zoning Ordinance requirements with the City of Maple Grove to act as escrow agent on behalf of the City of Plymouth. 5. Payment of Park Dedication fees -in -lieu of $1,350. 6. Retention of the existing trees along the east and southeast portions of the parking lot. 7. All trees which are part of the landscape plan and are located within the City of Plymouth corporate limits shall be 4-6 ft. in height. 8.
