Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved Its adoption:
RESOLUTION #78- 272
APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR MAPLE GROVE CENTER 2ND ADDITION FOR MENDOTA, INC. (A-528)
WHEREAS, Mendota, Inc. has requested preliminary plat approval for Maple Grove
Center 2nd Addition, located north of County Road 10 and east of I-494, proposed
for development as a shopping center; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommended approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does, approve the request of Mendota, Inc. for
preliminary plat approval of Maple Grove Center 2nd Addition, located north of County
Road 10 and east of I-494, proposed for development as a shopping center, subject to
the following conditions:
1. No final plat action will proceed except for the area between and including
Sycamore and Quinwood Lanes until Plymouth water and sewer are extended to the
site.
2. Approval by Henre�in County as to County Road 10 right-of-way and turning lane
improvements and County Road 61 and County Road 10 intersection.
3. Future final plat shall include a 40 ft. trail right-of-way parallel to County
Road 61.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Seibold . and upon vote being taken thereon. the
following vo e In favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils,_
Seibold and Spaeth
The rollowing voted against orabstained; one
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adoptfd.
