Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, areap meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was hel d on the
17th day of April , 19 78 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt. ouncilmembe s Ho e' sSeibold
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Seibold introduced the following Resolution and
MveTits adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78-214
REQUESTING HENNEPIN COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT
TO MARK COUNTY ROAD 6 AS A CLASS II BIKE LANE
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has an adopted Trail System Guide Plan, and
WHEREAS, County Road 6 was widened and an eight foot bike lane shoulder was
included and identified as a bike lane by the use of a solid white line, and
WHEREAS, this bike lane is a Class II collector bike lane and it should be
identified so as to be consistent with the City's overall Trail System Guide
Plan.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that they request that the Hennepin County Highway Department
personnel sign and mark County Road 6 as a Class II Bikeway between the west
City limits and CSAH 61 (Xenium Lane).
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councjlrriembpr NgiI and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vo e n favor thereof, Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt. Neils.
