HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1978-197• CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota wasa don the 17th day of Aril 19 78. The following members were present: Mayor un ounce mem er— sHoyt,1Teils, Seibold and Spaeth The following members were absent: None Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION #78-197 APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT/PLAN FOR RPUD 77-6, ZACHARY HILLS FOR MARVIN H. ANDERSON CONSTRUCTION (A-778) WHEREAS, Marvin H. Anderson Construction has requested preliminary plat/plan approval for RPUD 77-6, Zachary Hills, consisting of 207 single family dwelling lots and 26 duplex units (13 structures), proposed to be located west of Zachary Lane, east of Schmidt Lake; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Ccmmis,ion has reviewed said request and recommended approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does approve the request of Marvin H. Anderson Construction for preliminary plat/plan approval for RPUD 77-6, Zachary Hills, con- sisting of 207 single family dwelling lots and 26 duplex units (13 structures), located west of Zachary Lane and east of Schmidt Lake, subject to the following condi- tions: 1. Park Dedication requirements (10.1 acres or fees -in -lieu) shall consist of the area labelled "park" (3.44 acres) and the two areas labelled "trail" (1.95 acres) and fees -in -lieu equivalent of 4.71 acres as determined by the Assessor's market value (average) for the site at the date of the initial development contract. 2. Street naming shall be adjusted for consistency with the City Street Naming Policy. 3. All duplexes shall be deleted. 4. Compliance with the City Engineer's memorandum. 5. Inclusion of a 30 ft. trail corridor connecting the plat to the Soo Line Trail to the north. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote n favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils. Seiboldand Spaeth The foll owing voted against ora sta.ne ; Non Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pa%jed and adopted,
