Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Re ular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth,Min esota was held on t e
. 171 day of Aoril , 19 78 . The following members were

The following'' members were absent: None
Councilmember Sgibold introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78-192
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A WARRANTY DEED TO THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has negotiated with the United States Postal Service
for the sale of certain real property located within the City of Plymouth legally
described as Lot 1, Block 1, Plymouth Center, and
WHEREAS, the parties have heretofore agreed upon the sum of $80,000 as the sale
and purchase price of said property and upon other conditions all as set out in
that certain offer to Sell Real Property dated the 26th day of September, 1977,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth does now desire to convey said property in fee simple
to said United States Postal Service;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA as follows:
1. That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to
execute a Warranty Deed running from the City of Plymouth to the United
States Postal Service conveying Lot 1, Block 1, Plymouth Center, Hennepin
County, Minnesota and such other instruments as they may be required to
execute in order to convey said property to the United States Postal Service.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare a certified copy of this
resolution for transmittal and delivery to the United States Postal Service.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
and upon vote being taken thereon, the

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed nd aadopte
