Neil -q, Seihold and Spaeth T e oT awing members were absent: None x** Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved is a option: RESOLUTION NO. 78-187 ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENTS 23RD AVENUE, 25TH AVENUE & CHESHIRE LANE WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the following streets: 1. 25th Avenue from Fernbrook Lane to Cheshire Lane 2. 23rd Avenue from Fernbrook Lane to Cheshire Lane 3. Cheshire Lane from 25th to 23rd Avenue 4. Cheshire Lane (easement) from 23rd Avenue to approximately 260 feet south of 21st Avenue by the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer and 9 -ton bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter (on Cheshire Lane - easement, from 23rd Avenue to approximately 260 feet south of 21st Avenue - watermain only), and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended), and WHEREAS, certain of these improvements have been assigned project numbers and Resolutions have been adopted ordering preliminary engineering reports: 1. Project No. 805 - Resolution No. 77-617 Watermain on Cheshire Lane south of 21st Avenue 2. Project No. 817 - Resolution No. 77-649 Street on 25th Avenue east of Fernbrook Lane 3. Project No. 841 - Resolution No. 78-133 Street & utilities on 23rd east of Fernbrook Lane AND, WHEREAS, the Project Numbers 805, 817 and 841 are combined for the purposes of this preliminary engineering report. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TnE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the proposed improvements be referred to Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. for study and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council ;n a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement Resolution N 78-187 Page 2 is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Hunt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vord in favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils, SPjbpjd gnd Spaeth Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly
