RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING
ON IMPROVEMENT OF PROPOSED
RIDGECREST ADDITION AREA
PROJECT NO. 829
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted January 16, 1978, a report
has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. with reference
to the improvement of Quaker Lane, Orleans Lane, 31st Avenue, 30th Avenue, 29th
Avenue, all within the proposed plat of Ridgecrest Addition legally described as:
All of that part of Lot 2 of Subdivision No. 333 lying north of the plat
of Lake Park Acres except highway and all of Lot 1, Subdivision No. 333
except the south 216.3 feet of the east 101 feet thereof, and
The west 330 feet of the north 642 feet of the northwest quarter of the
southeast quarter of Section 24, Township 118, Range 22
by the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, 7 -ton bituminous
street with concrete curb and gutter and required connections to existing sewer
and watermain, and all necessary appurtenances, and this report was received by
the Council on April 3, 1978.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
I. The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance
with this report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a
portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes,
Sections 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398,r'as amended) and
the estimated total cost of the improvement is $450,777.00.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the first
day of May 1978, in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building
at 14900 23rd Avenue North at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed -
and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required -by law.

3. The Council will consider Alternate No. 1, as shown on Figure No. 1 of the
Preliminary Report dated March 23, 1978. This will include consideration
of the extension of Pilgrim Lane and Orleans Lane north of the proposed
Ridgecrest Addition (across Plat 43724 - Parcel 1000) and west of said
plat (across Lots 10, 18 and 21, Auditor's Subdivision 333).
4. The Council will also consider improvements on 29th Avenue from Quaker
Lane to approximately 330 feet east of Orleans Lane; Quaker Lane from
28th to approximately 250 feet north of 29th Avenue; and Orleans Lane
from 28th to 29th.
