Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, M nnesota was a on t e
20th day of March , 1978 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt Councilmembers Hoyt, Neil
The following members were absent: Councilmember Seibold
Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved is adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78446
AUTHORIZING PUBLIC SALE OF PLAT 44060 PARCEL 6000
PREVIOUSLY CONVEYED FOR PUBLIC OWNERSHIP
WHEREAS, Plat 44060, Parcel 6000 became tax forfeit for non-payment of real
estate taxes, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to request by Hennepin County, the Plymouth City Council did
on January 9, 1978 authorize this lot for conveyance for public purposes through
passage of Resolution No. 78-35, and
WHEREAS, since said conveyance action, new information has become available
suggesting that said lot would be purchased for private ownership if made available,
and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City of Plymouth to promote private land ownership
within the City,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA
that it should and hereby does authorize the public sale of Plat 44060, Parcel
6000,
AND FURTHER, directs the City Manager to inform Hennepin County that the previously
submitted conveyance application on the subject parcel is hereby declared null and
void.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution w4s duly seconded by
Mayor Hunt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following Yo e n favor thereof: Mavor Hunt Councilmembers Hoyt and Saaetr

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pa%sed and adopted,
