The following members were present: I Neil-, and Spaeth T e o owing mem ers were a sen : Councilmember Seibold Councilmember Spaeth_ introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78-136 ACCEPTING BID PROJECT NO. 837 1978 SANITARY SEWER TV WORK WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the following projects: Kreatz Highview Acres - Project No. 704 3rd & Queensland - Project No. 705 CSAH 15 & Niagara Lane - Project No. 714 Timber Creek Addition - Project No. 718 Downtown Plymouth - Project No. 611 for TV inspection work, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Solidification, Inc. - $ 3,215.52 Viking Pipe Services Co. - $ 3,297.40 Erwin Montgomery Constr. Co. - $ 3,735.20 Midwest Underground Inspection - $ 4,880.70 W & G Jaques Company - $15,620.00 AND WHEREAS, it appears that Solidification, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to ei.ter into the attached contract with Solidification, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota, in the name of the City of Plymouth for the following projects: Kreatz Highview Acres - Project No. 704 3rd & Queensland - 'Project No. 705 CSAH 15 & Niagara Lane - Project No. 714 Timber Creek Addition - Project No. 718 Downtown Plymouth. - Project No. 611 for TV inspection work according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk for the low bid amount of $3,215.52. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
