Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular_ meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth. Minnesota was held on the
20th _ day of March , 19 78. The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers_Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth
The following members were absent: Councilmember Seibold
Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved Its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78-133
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
23RD AVENUE FROM FERNBROOK LANE TO CHESHIRE LANE
PROJECT NO. 841
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of 23rd Avenue between
Fernbrook Lane and Cheshire Lane by the installation of sanitary sewer,
watermain, 9 -ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter and
. storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances, filed with the council
on March 20, 1978, is hereby declared to be signed by the required
percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration
is made in conformity to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.035.
2. The petition is hereby referred to Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates,
Inc. and he is instructed to report to the council with all convenient
speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed
improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed
or in connection with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the
improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember N it , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote n favor there. : Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt. Neils
. and Spaeth ,
The following vote against ora sta.ne ; None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pmea and adopted.
