Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78-103
REQUESTING SPEED ZONE STUDY
SOUTH SHORE DRIVE
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has certain local streets that should be studied
to determine the appropriate speed limit that should be posted on said streets,
and
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Transportation has the authority to set speed
limits in accordance with Section 169.14 Subdivision 5 of the State Statutes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the Commissioner of Transportation is requested to speed zone
the following street of the City of Plymouth to determine the legal posted
speed limit:
South Shore Drive from T.H. 55 to 13th Avenue
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember SeiLold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
