HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1978-072• CITY OF PLYMOUTH 0 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on tie 6th day of February , 19_M. The following members were present: The following members were absent: _Mayer Hunt Councilmember Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78- 72 RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT ZACHARY LANE TRUNK WATERMAIN PROJECT NO. 810 WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council, adopted on November 7, 1977, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. with respect to the improvement of Zachary Lane from 53rd Avenue south to approximately 1600' north of County Road 9 by the installation of watermain trunk facilities, street restoration and all necessary appurtenances, and this report was received by the Council on February 6, 1978. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended), at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $204,690.00. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the sixth day of March, 1978 in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building at 14900 23rd Avenue North at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote .n favor thereof; cting Mayor Spaeth- Cnijnrilmamhar= Hng t, Thec ow ng vote agains ora std ne ; Nnqp Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly paSsed and adopted.
