Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota washe d on tFe .

present:
Acting Mayor Spaeth, Council Members Hot Neils and Seibold .
The following members were absent: Mayor Hunt
Council Member Seibold introduced the following Resolution and
moved its option:
RESOLUTION #78-68
DENYING CONCEPT PLAN FOR RPUD 77-6 "ZACHARY HILLS" FOR MARVIN H. ANDERSON
CONSTRUCTION (A-778)
WHEREAS, Marvin H. Anderson Construction has requested approval of a Concept Plan
for RPUD 77-6, "Zachary Hills," located south of the Soo Line Tracks, west of Zachary
Lane and east of Schmidt Lake, per plans dated January, 1978; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said plans and made recommendations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does, deny the request of Marvin H. Anderson
Construction for approval of a Concept Plan for RPUD 77-6, "Zachary Hills," located
south of the Soo Line Tracks, west of Zachary Lane and east of Schmidt Lake, per plans
dated January, 1978, based upon the following:
The property is currently guided LA -1, Low Density Residential.
2. It is not appropriate to provide townhouses ;n an LA -1 area with single family
homes.
3. The LA -1 Guide Plan category is intended primarily for the single family, detached
dwelling development and a development with a major fraction encompassing dwelling
structures other than single family would not be in keeping with the category.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Council Member Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vo e n favor thereof: Acting Mayor Spaeth, Council Members
Hot Neils and Seibold

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
