HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1978-056*CITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 30th day of _ Januar , 19 78 . The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyyt, Spaeth, Seibold The following members were absent: Councilmember Neils **f introduced the following Resolution and moved is adoption:' RESOLUTION NO. 78- 56 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - MISSION HILLS PARK III ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Lundgren Bros. Construction, Inc. requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Mission Hills Park III Addition development, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Mission Hills Park III Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting filed with the City Council on January 30, 1978 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote n favor thereof; Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Spaeth, Hot Seibold The tollowIng voted aga nst orabstained; None , Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly plisse an a opte ,
