the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesot was hel on the

Councilmember Seibold introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78- 51
RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 828
COUNTY ROAD 6 AT COUNTY ROAD 61
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted January 9, 1978, the
report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the improvement
of the intersection of County State Aid Highway 6 and County State Aid Highway
61 by the widening and construction of median islands on County Road 6, concrete
curb and gutter, storm sewer, and all necessary appurtenances and a fully
actuated traffic signal at the intersection, and this report is received by
the Council on January 16, 1978.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Council consider the improvement of such street in accordance with
the report and the assessment of abutting properties for all or a portion
of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota State Statutes 429.011
to 429.111 (Laws 9153, Ch. 398 as amended) at the estimated total cost of
the improvement of 12.47,751.00 with the City share estimated at $61,736.00.
A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 27th day of
February, 1978, in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Garage at
14900 - 23rd Avenue North, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. and the Clerk shall
give mailed and published notices of such hearing and improvement as required
by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ho t , and upon vote being.taken thereon, the
following vote n favor thereof, Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Spaeth, Hoyt,
Seibold _
