Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reula meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was ie on Te—
16th day of January , 1978 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt. C9uncilmembers Hoyt,_ Neils. Seibold Ind Spaeth

Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78-46
RESOLUTION APPROVING TELEPHONE SYSTEM STUDY
AND ALLOCATING FUNDS THEREFORE
WHEREAS, the telephone system is of considerable importance in the conduct of
municipal business; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to obtain a telephone system which will enhance the
efficiency and economy of municipal operations; and
WHEREAS, new technology and financial options p made the analysis of tele-
phone systems more complex; and
WHEREAS, the consulting firm of Hart and Associates has submitted a proposal
for conducting a telephone study for the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does accept the proposal of
Hart and Associates for the initiation of a telephone system study.
AND, FURTHER, that Phases I and II are authorized as outlined in the consultant's
proposal.
AND, FURTHER, that a sum not to exceed $900 is available from the municipal
building account 101-174-857 for payment of Phases I and II.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
and upon vote being taken thereon, the
