Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a t special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
9th day of January , 19 78. The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt Councilmembers
The following members were absent: None
Mayor Hunt_ introduced the following Resolution and
moved adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78-9
PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 828
CHANNELIZATION AND SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS
COUNTY ROAD 6 AND COUNTY ROAD 61
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the intersection of County State Aid Highway 6
and County State Aid Highway 61 by the widening and construction of median islands
on County Road 6, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and all necessary appurten-
ances and a fully actuated traffic signal at the intersection, and to assess the
benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant
to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as
amended).
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
That the proposed improvements be referred to the City Engineer for study and that
he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the
Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible
and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some
other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
