Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
9th daffy of January , 19 78. The following members were
present:
The following -members were absent: None
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 1#78-7
DENYING LOT DTVISION OF UNPLATTED PROPERTY FOR JEROME P. BEGIN (A-785)
WHEREAS, Jerome Begin, 12615 County Road 9, Plymouth, has requested a division of
unplatted property at the southeast corner of Zachary Lane and 49th Avenue North;
and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommended denial;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does deny said request for the following
reason:
1. Inconsistency with Council Policy Resolution #75-664 dealing with development
of any nature in the unsewered areas of the City.
2. No hardship on the use of the land is shown to justify the granting of waiver
from requirements of the subdivision regulations.
3. The petitioned division would create a land -locked parcel without direct
access to public street.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
and upon vote being taken thereon, the
followIng voted in favor thereof; Mayor Hunt- r-nunrilmember Hoyt. Neils.
