Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota waseTi dl on the
19th day of December , 1977 The following members were
present: Mayor Hilde Councilmen Hunt Neils and Seibold
The following members were absent: Councilman Spaeth
Councilman,Hunt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 77-757
GRANTING VARIANCE FOR LOTS 1, 2, 3 & 4, BLOCK 1
MINNEAPOLIS INDUSTRIAL PARK 3RD ADDITION
WHEREAS, Carlson Properties, Inc. has applied for variance from Section 17,
Subd. 2, Para. 4(f) with respect to off-street within a rear yeard setback
area for Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 1, Minneapolis Industrial Park Third
Addition, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that due to the unique shape of said lots
caused by Plymouth Creek, the strict application of the provisions of the
Zoning Ordinance would create a hardship, and
WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that the existence of a 100 foot
public trail corridor north of said lots provides for an effective parking
setback equal to or exceeding the provisions of said ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that a variance is granted from Section 17, Subd. 2, Para. 4(f) of
the Zoning Ordinance to allow off-street parking on Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 1,
Minneapolis Industrial Park Third Addition within 30 feet of the rear property
line where 75 feet would otherwise be required.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by

following voted` in Tayor thereof: : Mayor Hilde Councilmen Hunt Neils
and Seibold
The following voted against or abstained; Non
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
