C ITY OF P LYMOUTH
R ESOLUTION N O. 2020-275
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING A SSET T RANSFER A GREEMENT
WITH THE C ITY OF M APLE G ROVE
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth desires to approve asset transfer agreement to the City of Maple
Grove; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Statutes §§ 471.64 and 471.85 authorizes any city to transfer its personal
property to another city for public use without consideration and authorizes any city to acquire property
from another city without regard of other statutory provisions governing the acquisition of public property
when duly authorized by its governing body; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth wishes to transfer public safety equipment it no longer needs for its
operation to the City of Maple Grove under the terms set in the Asset Transfer Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the Asset Transfer Agreement is approved and the mayor and city manager are
authorized to execute the agreement.
