HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1977-664CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a s ec`al meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was neld on —tFP 9th day of November 19 77 The following members were present: e tollowing members were absent: Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved s adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 77-664 RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO THE CITY ELECTION RESULTS ON NOVEMBER 8, 1977 WHEREAS, a City Election was held on the 8th day of November, 1977, in the City of Plymouth, and WHEREAS, this Council has canvassed the returns of said election along with all other pertinent data relative to this election; NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the results of the City Election for the Office of Mayor are hereby certified as follows: Howard L. (Gerry) Neils . . . . 3 Loretta Garrity. . . . . . . . 1 Al Hofstedt. . . . . . . . . . 1 Jim Jacobson . . . . . . . . 1 John Spaeth, Sr. . . . . . . . 1 and declare Howard L. Hunt as the successful candidate for Mayor for a two (2) year term on the City Council commencing January 1, 1978. AND, FURTHER, that the results of the City Election for two (2) Council seats are hereby certified as follows: G.N.
