Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a, re uIar meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
7th day of November , 19 77. The following members were

Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 77-637
ACCEPTING BID
REPLACEMENT OF GARAGE DOORS
AT PUBLIC WORKS GARAGE
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the replacement of the eight
overhead garage doors at the Public Works Garage building, bids were received,
opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received
complying with the advertisement:
Twin City Garage Door Co. $8,839.00
Steel Structures, Inc. $9,563.00
AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Twin City Garage Door Company of Minneapolis,
Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder,
NOW. THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to sign a purchase
older with Twin City Garage Door Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota in the
name of the City of Plymouth for the replacement of the eight garage doors
at the Public Works Garage according to the plans and specifications therefor
approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the city clerk.
2. The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to'all
bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the
successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a
contract has been signed.
3. The work is to be funded from account 602-531-921.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
