Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a, regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, M"—esota was TReW -on the

Councilman Hunt introduced the fallowing Resolution and moved
its a ption:
RESOLUTION NO. 77-635
AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION
OF WATER RESERVOIR SITES II AND III
PROJECTS 709 AND 710
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has a comprehensive Water Distribution Plan
dated May 1972, and
WHEREAS, the 1977 segment of the Five Year Capital Improvements Program includes
the proposed acquisition of Water Reservoirs Sites II and III, and
WHEREAS, the City Council accepted the Preliminary Engineering Report for said
sites at their April 12, 1977 meeting and directed that appraisals be made, and
WHEREAS, the assessor has submitted his appraisals of Sites II and III, Figures
1 and 3 respectively as shown in the Preliminary Engineering Report dated
March 23, 1977 as prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc.,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the manager is authorized to proceed,with negotiations for the
acquisition of Reservoir Sites II and III,
AND, FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that soil borings be taken before a purchase
contract is executed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted In favorthereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen: Hunt, Neils,
Seibold and Spaeth
