The following members were Present: The following meffbers were sent: Mayor Hit e Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its tion: RESOLUTION NO. 77-616 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - WELLINGTON ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Parklands Development Company requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Wellington Addition development, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. ,A certain petition requesting the improvement of Wellington Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting filed with the City Council on October 24, 1977 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429,035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjuration with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
