Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
17th day of — rtober , 19 77. The following members were

Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 77-594
ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 801
VICKSBURG LANE - CSAH 9 TO COUNTY ROAD 47
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Vicksburg Lane from CSAH 9 to County Road 47
by the installation of major thoroughfare road to interim rural section which
includes full grading, gravel base, alternate for bituminous surface, and
necessary drainage facilities, and all necessary appurtenances, and to assess
the benefitted property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement,
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as
amended).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA :
1. That the proposed improvement be referred to Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik
and Associates for study and that he is instructed to report to the council
with all convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to
whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should
best be made as proposed or in connection with some other 'mprovement,
and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
2. That the report should include the status of existing right-of-way; the
possible ways of financing including M.S.A. funds, M.S.A. bonding, etc.
3. Review of City policies limiting access to thoroughfares.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Spaeth , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
fol�awu►g voted-infavorthereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils,
Seibold and Spaeth

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pass -adopted.
