Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, MiMeSota was held on the
3rd day of October , 19 77. The following members were

Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved
is adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 77- 565
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING FOR SAGAMORE APARTMENTS AREA
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Quality Homes, Inc. requesting
installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Sagamore Apartments
area,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of the Sagamore Apartments area
by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting filed with the
Council on October 3. 1977 is hereby declared to be signed by the required
percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made
in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035.
2. The petition is signed by 1005 of the affected property owners and they have
waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to
report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a
preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to
whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other
improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
fol owing voted in favor reof: mayor Hilde. Councilmen Hunt, Seibold
and Spa th
