Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City, of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 3rd day of

RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
DOWNTOWN PLYMOUTH STREETS
PROJECT NO. 611-001
WHEREAS, Pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of:

Downtown Plymouth - Phase I
Niagara Lane from T.H. 55 to the north line of City Hall site.
a. grade full width for ultimate four -lane divided road
b. surface only 1/2 or two lanes
c. concrete curb and gutter on east side of road only
34th Avenue from Niagara Lane to east line of Post Office site
32nd Avenue from Niagara Lane to west line of Cavanaugh Addition
bits were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following
bids were received complying with the advertisement:

AND, WHEREAS. it appears that Veit & Company, Inc. of Minneapolis. Minnesota
is the lowest responsible bidder,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the
attached contract with Veit & Company, Inc. of Minneapolis, Mianesota in
the name of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota for the improvement of:

according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the City
Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk in the low bid amount
of $236,586.13.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to
all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits
of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
