RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
DOWNTOWN PLYMOUTH UTILITIES
PROJECT NO. 611
WHEREAS, Pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the following improvements
in the Downtown Plymouth area bounded by T.H. 55, C.S.A.H. 9, Vicksburg Lane
and Fernbrook Lane:
SANITARY SEWER
Downtown Plymouth - Phase I
The construction of the N.W. Interceptor from its present terminal at point
37 at the intersection of Fernbrook Lane and 35th Avenue west and south to
the interim lift station at 32nd and Niagara Lane; lateral sewer on 34th
Avenue from the N.W. Interceptor west to Niagara Lane.
Downtown Plymouth - Phase II
Lateral Sewer on Niagara Lane from 34th Avenue to 36th Avenue; and on 36th
Avenue from Niagara Lane to Vicksburg Lane.

Downtown Plymouth - Phase I
18" watermain trunk on Niagara Lane from the south side of T.H. 55 to 34th
Avenue; lateral on 34th Avenue from Niagara Lane east approximately 300 feet.
Downtown Plymouth - Phase II
18" watermain trunk on Niagara Lane from 34th Avenue to 36th Avenue; lateral
watermain on 36th Avenue from Niagara Lane to Vicksburg Lane; 12" trunk
watermain on Vicksburg Lane from the south side of T.H. 55 to 36th Avenue.
STORM SEWER
Minimum amount required to facilitate positive drainage in Phase I.

AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Johnson Brothers Corporation of Minneapolis,
Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
I. The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the
attached contract with Johnson Brothers Corporation of Minneapolis,
Minnesota for the improvement of:
SANITARY SEWER
Downtown Plymouth - Phase I
The construction of the N.W. Interceptor from its present terminal at
point 37 at the intersection of Fernbrook Lane anis 35th Avenue west and
south to the interim lift station at 32nd and Niagara Lane. lateral
sewer on 34th Avenue from the N.W. Interceptor west to Niagara Lane.
WATERMAIN
Downtown Plymouth - Phase I
18" watermain trunk on Niagara Lane from the south side of T.H. 55 to
Alth Avenue; lateral on 34th Avenue from Niagara Lane east approximately
300 feet.
STORM SEWER
Minimum amount required to facilitate positive drainage in Phase I.

according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the City
Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk is the low bid amount
for Phase I only, $404,241.51.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to
all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits
of the successful bideer and the next lowest bidder shall be retained
until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Seibold , and upon vote taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt Neils, Seibold
and Spaeth
