Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved
its a ption:
RESOLUTION #77-501
APPROVING SITE PLAN FOR LUCE LINE TRAILHEAD FOR MINNESOTA DEPAR174ENT OF NATURAL
RESOURCES (A-762)
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has requested site
plan approval for the Luce Line Trailhead located in the southwest quadrant of the
City; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommended approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does, approve the request of the Minnesota
DNR for site plan approval of the Luce Line Trailhead located in the southwest
quadrant of the City subject to the following conditions:
Both signs should be at least 20 ft. setback from the public street right-of-way
and any property line. The "Trailhead" directional sign should not exceed
4 sq. ft. in area (proposed at 12.5 sq. ft.)
2. 'All roadway and parking surfaces should be asphalt rathan than crushed limestone.
3. An agreement on patrolling the area shall be worked out between the City and
DNR before any construction is begun.
4. At such time as any permanent structures are constructed on the trailhead, the
DNR be assessed for sewer and water area charges as appropriate.
5. Water area charges shall be collected at this time.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Hunt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor ereof: Mayor Hilda. Councilmgn Hunt. Neils.
