the City Council of the City of Plymouth,Minnesotawaste the

Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved
isadoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 77-486
AWARDING BID FOR ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION
CITY HALL (PROJECT 615)
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the electrical construction of
the City Hall, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, -and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended rejecting Alternate No. 1; and
WHEREAS, it appears that Weaver Electric Company, Inc. is the lowest responsible
bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into contract with Weaver Electric Company, Inc. for the improvements outlined
heretofore according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by
the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk in the amount
of $153,810.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the deposits made with their bids except that the deposits of the
successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a
contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
fol owing voted in awn the Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly—passed anti adopted.
