CITY OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special__ meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the A+h day of

AWARDING BID FOR GENERAL CONSTRUCTION
CITY HALL (PROJECT 615)
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the general construction of
the City Hall, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and
the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

and;
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended rejecting Alternates Nos. 1, 2, 3,
5 and 6 and accepting Alternates Nos. 4 and 7; and
WHEREAS, it appears that after considering the alternate deductions, H.P. Droher
& Sons, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into contract with H.P. Droher & Sons, Inc. for the improvements outlined
heretofore according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by
the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk in the amount
of $948,000, representing the base bid of $941,000 and the acceptance of
Alternate No.7 adding $7,000.

2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to
all bidders the deposits made with their bids except that the deposits of
the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until
a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Mayor Hilde , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde. Councilmen Hunt and Neils
The following voted against axxahmtximrtd: Councilman Spaeth
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
