The following members were Present: Co ncilmen Hunt Neils and T aeth The following mowers were sent: Mavor Hilda and Councilman Seibold a** Copncilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved Its a tion: RESOLUTION NO. 77-478 ACCEPTING COOPERAIIVE PARK DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL FOR HEMLOCK PARK AND COMMENDING THE MR. AND MRS. JAYCEES WHEREAS, Hemlock Park, located at 24th Avenue North and Hemlock Lane, is municipally owned property dedicated for park use but is not, as yet, fully developed; and WHEREAS, the Plymouth -Wayzata Mr. and Mrs. Jaycees have offered assistance in the development of Hemlock Park through donation and installation of trees, paths, benches, a swing, balance beam, horizontal ladder, log, climbing wall, slide and flower garden; and WHEREAS, such equipment and improvements donated shall become the property and maintenance responsibility of the City of Plymouth once installed; and WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission has reviewed this develop- ment proposal and finds it beneficial to the City and its residents: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth that it should and hereby does accept the proposed donation of equipment and park improvements for Hemlock Park as submitted by the Plymouth -Wayzata Mr. and Mrs. Jaycees. FURTHER, that the City Council on behalf of the community is appreciative of the efforts of the Mr. and Mrs. Jaycees and hereby commends them for their civic concern in this cooperative park development project. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by_�__man Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow ted infavor thereof: Councilmen Hunt, Neils and Spaeth The owing voted against or abstain -0; N one Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
