The Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to issue a purchase order to Suburban Chevrolet of Minneapolis, Minnesota for seven 4 -door sedans, 1978 model, in accordance with the specifications therefor in the low net bid amount not to exceed $31,536.37. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until such time as reasonably necessary to assure full and total performance by the successful bidder. under the bid specification provisions dated July 27, 1977. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favorthereof: Councilmen Hunt, Neils and Spaeth me tottornng voted against or abstained.
