Mr
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 29th day of
August , 19 77 . The following members were present:

Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved
i'ts adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 77- 474
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING LOW BID
PROJECT NO. 704 KREATZ HIGHVIEW ACRES 6TH
PROJECT NO. 705 QUEENSLAND/GREENDALE AREA
WHEREAS, Pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the following improvements:
I. Project No. 704
Fountain Lane from 18th Avenue to the cul-de-sac approximately 625 feet north
thereof and from Dunkirk Lane to Fountain Lane at 19th Avenue by the installation
of sanitary sewer, watermain, bituminous street restoration and all necessary
appurtenances.
2. Project No. 705
Queensland/Greendale Area. Queensland Lane from 6th Avenue to the City limits
and the Greendale Addition, including Second Avenue North and Third Avenue to
the Luce Line Trail and southwesterly along the Luce Line Trail to Queensland
Lane, by the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, bituminous street
restoration and all necessary appurtenances.
bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids
were received complying with the advertisement:

AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Nodland Associates, Inc. of Alexandria, Minnesota
is the lowest responsible bidder,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the
attached contract with Nodland Associates, Inc. of Alexandria, Minnesota
in the name of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota for the improvement of -
Project No. 704
Fountain Lane from 18th Avenue to the cul-de-sac approximately 625 feet north
thereof and from Dunkirk Lane to Fountain Lane at 19th Avenue by the install-
ation of sanitary sewer, watermain, bituminous street restoration and all
necessary appurtenances.
Project No. 705
Queensland/Greendale Area. Queensland Lane from 6th Avenue to the City limits

Lane, by the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, bituminous street

according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the City Council
and on file in the office of the city clerk, for the low bid amount of
$176,781.00.
2. The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the deposits made with their bids, except the deposits of the success-
ful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has
been signed.
Adopted by the City Council this 79th day of August , 1177.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
