HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1977-462• 10 CITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the the 29th day of August , 19 77 . The following members were present: Councilmen Hunt, Rei—Ts is Spa7e Fi' The following members were absent: mayor Hilde and Councilman NeIbUTff Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution ind moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 77-462 CALLING HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 604 14TH AND ZANZIBAR UTILITIES WHEREAS, by a resolution of the City Council passed on August 22, 1977 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improving 14th Avenue from Vicksburg Lane to Zanzibar Lane; Zanzibar Lane from County Road 6 to 13th Avenue and Archer Lane from County Road 6 to 13th Avenue and 13th Avenue from Zanzibar Lane to approximately 150 feet west of Archer Lane and that portion of the south side of County Road 6 between -Weston Lane and -250 feet west of Archer Lane ty the installation of sanitary sewer, water main, bituminous street and all necessary appurtenances including previously constructed trunk water main facilities, and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection, 10 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,_ . MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 26th day of September, 1977 in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue North at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior. to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of -each parcel' described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmen Hunt, Neils and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
