HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1977-461• CITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was ;geld on the the 29th day of —August , 1977 . The following members were present: Counci men unt, Neils and Spaeth The following members were absent: Mayor Hilde-and Councilman Seibold Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 77- 461 SETTING HEARING DATE ON PROPOSER ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 602 3RD AND QUEENSLAND UTILITIES WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on August 22,1927.-• the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of installing sanitary sewer and water main from approximately the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Queensland Lane westerly to the southeast corner of the Ferndale North plat together_ with a sanitary sewer lift station and all necessary appurtenances including street restoration and previously constructed trunk sewer and water main facilities, and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that -such proposed assessment has been completed -and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection, - NOW THEREFORE, BEFIT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1: A hearing shall be held on the 26th day of September 1977 in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd•Avenue North at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons - owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2: The City Clerk is hereby directed to causd a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall -state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmen Hunt, Neils and SDaeth The following voted against or abstained: None EShereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
