Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 77-438
DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROSPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT NO. 621 36TH AVENUE
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of 36th Avenue from the
west line of the Mission Ridge 1st Addition to approximately 550 feet west
thereof by the construction of seven ton bituminous interim road section
twenty-four feet wide with gravel shoulders and all necessary appurtenances
and the contract price for such improvement is $5,959.00 and the expenses
incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to
$2,243.00 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $8,202.00 and
of this cost the City will pay $0.00 as its share of the cost,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH,MINNESOTA:
1: The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared
to be $8,202.00.
2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement
against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district
affected without regard to cash valuation as provided by law, and the
Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the
City Clerk for public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify
the Council thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Seibold and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following ,va-e urn favor thereof: Mayor Hilde. Councilmen Hunt, Seibold
and Spaeth
