Pursuant to due call and noticethereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, 3nnesota was held on the
22nd day of August , 1977. The following members were
present: _Mayor H Ide, ounce men Hunt, Seibold and Spaeth
The following members were sent: Councilman Neils
Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 77-435
DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT NO. 609 REINHARD INDUSTRIAL PARK
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of 12th Avenue from Xenium
Lane to approximately 1100 feet east to the termination of the cul-de-sac within
the plat of Reinhard Industrial Park (said property lying south of the Chicago/
Northwestern Railroad right-of-way, east of Xenium Lane, north of the south side
line of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 34, Township
118, Range 22) by the construction of nine ton bituminous street with concrete
curb and gutter, watermain, and sanitary sewer, (said sanitary sewer line being
constructed westerly from the in place trunk line lying approximately 300 feet
east of the easterly boundary of said plat) storm sewer and all necessary
appurtenances and the contract price for such improvement is $73,100.00 and the
expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount
to $19,540.00 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $92,640.00
and of this cost the City will pay $0.00 as its share of the cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared
to be $92,640.00.
2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement
against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district
affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the
Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of thg
City Clerk for public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify
the Council thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
and upon vote being taken thereon, the
fol owing vote in avor ereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Seibold
and Spaeth
