CITY OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant, to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, ;tinnesota, was held on the 22nd day of
August , 19 77 . The following members were present:

Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved
is adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 17- 434
DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT NO. 604 14TH AND ZANZIBAR UTILITIES
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of 14th Avenue from Vicksburg Lane
to Zanzibar Lane, on Zanzibar Lane from County Road 6 to 13th Avenue and Archer Lane
from County Road �r to 13th Avenue and 13th Avenue from Zanzibar Lane to approximately
150 feet west of Ar.her Lane and that portion of the south side of County Road 6 between
Westor lane and 25� feet west of Archer Lane by the installation of sanitary sewer,
water main, bitum4nous street and all necessary appurtenances including previously
constructed trunk water main facilities, and the contract price for such improvement is
$165,056.00 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement
amount to ; 40,0C-_00 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $205,056.00
and of this cost the City will pay $ 0.00 as its share of the cost,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of the improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be
$ 205;056.00
2. It is further determined that the following charges for water trunk main, pumping
and storage facilities for the above referenced project shall be applied to the
existing land use zoning:
WATER AREA CHARGES
Residential $250/per k acre lot or $500/acre
Commercial -Industrial $750 per acre
3. The City Clerk with the assistance of the City Engineer shall forthwith calculate
the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every
assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regaro
to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such
proposed assessment in the office the City Clerk for public inspection.
4. The Clerk shall, upon completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council
thereof.
