Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a. regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota wasiT ER on the
15th day of August , 19 77. The following members were
present: Mayor Hilde, Council men Hunt,—Neils, Seibold and Spaeth

Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 77- 423
REVISING SICK LEAVE BENEFITS AS CONTAINED IN
PLYMOUTH PERSONNEL POLICY ADOPTED JULY 10, 1972
WHEREAS, the City Manager has proposed revisions to the existing Personnel
Policy provisions regarding sick leave benefits; and
WHEREAS, revisions recommended appear to be beneficial to eligible City
employees and the City of Plymouth by providing enhanced income continuation
protection in cases of disability to eligibly employees at a cost substantially
the same as existing policy:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota, that it should and hereby does establish an income continuation
plan for eligible City employees consisting of short and long term disability
policy.
FURTHER, that the provisions of the existing sick leave policy shall terminate
upon the effective date of the revised policy and that accred but unused sick
leave on that date shall cease to exist.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the

thereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
