Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, aregular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, _ esota was held on the
15th day of August , 19 77 . The following members were
present: Mayor i e, ounce men Hunf7fleils, Seibold and Spaeth

Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption.
RESOLUTION NO. 77-422
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 77-149
SETTING PURCHASE PRICE FOR SITE
DOWNTOWN PLYMOUTH POST OFFICE
WHEREAS, the City has been negotiating with representatives of the United States
Postal Service for the sale to the Postal Service of certain lands within the
City legal described as Lot 1, Block 1, Plymouth Center, and
WHEREAS, the United States Postal Service requires that the City submit a
document known as Offer to Sell Real Property, and
WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution No. 77-149, adopted March 21, 1977,
did authorize the submission of an Offer to Sell Real Property to the United
Sates Postal Service, and
WHEREAS, the United States Postal Service and staff have subsequently reviewed
and considered the City's offer and now have mutually agreed to certain revi-
sions in said Offer to Sell Real Property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the Offer to Sell Real Property as authorized by
Resolution No. 77-149 be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
1. That Paragraph 1 of said Offer recite that the notice of acceptance
shall be given the City within 120 calendar days of April 25, 1977.
2. That Paragraph 2 of said Offer recite that the sales price shall be
the sum of $80,000. '
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare a
certified copy of this resolution and transmit it to the United States Postal
Service.
The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Spaeth and upon vote being taken thereon, the
fbllowinS voted favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils,
Seibold and Spaeth

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
