The following members were present:1, Hunt- Seibold and aeth The following rs were sent: Cauncalman Neils Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 77-332 AW,. :DING BID FOR FIVE 4 -DOOR SEDANS WHEREAS, Pursuant to a.: advertisement for bids for five 4 -door sedans 1978 model, bids were received on June 24, 1977, opened and tabulated and the following bids were received: BIDDER BASE BID AMOUNT Suburban Chevrolet $23,286.55 Iten Chevrolet $23,037.50 Superior Ford $26,210.00 OPTION TRADE-IN NET BID Inc. in Base -$11100.00 $22,186.55 + $280.00 -$1,000.00 $22,317.05 Inc. in Base -$2,018.00 $24,192.00 WHEREAS, it appears that Suburban Chevrolet of Minneapolis, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to issue a purchase order with Suburban Chevrolet of Minneapolis, Minnesota for five 4 -door sedans, 1978 model, in accordance with the specifications therefor in the low net bid amount of $22,186.55 which includes the power brake option and trade-in allowance. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded byCouncilman Hunt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following— voted inFawr ereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Seibold and qnatath .ne zuiiowing voLea against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
