HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1977-326W CITY OF PLYND= io Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on tFW 27th day of June 19 77 . The following members were present: mayor Hilde, Counc lmen Hunt, Seibold and Spaeth Tollowing memers were sent: Councilman Neils AAA AAA *AA Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION #77-326 APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS FOR COLUMBUS HOME ASSOCIATION (A-126) WHEREAS,the Columbus Home Association has requested conditional use permits to operate in a B-3 (Service Business District) zone at 10904-10910 South Shore Drive; AND, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said requests and recommended approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, . MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does, approve the following requests: 1. Conditional use permit for a fraternal lodge to occupy not more than 1,000 sq. ft. for a period of one year. 2. A conditional use permit for Aaron Electric for a period of one year. Said approvals to be subject to the following conditions: 1. Lot division/consolidation of Parcels 9234, 9250, 9210 and 9245, Plat 43736 to create the parcel depicted by plans dated May 30, 1977. 2. Improvement of the subject site consistent with plans dated May 30, 1977. 3. Adjustment of sign location to amintain 20 ft. setback. Said sign shall,not exceed 290 sq. ft. in surface area and 36 ft. in height or reduced in height such that the aggregate sign area for the site does not exceed 290 sq. ft. 4. All parking areas shall be asphalt paved. 5. All deciduous plantings shall be of minimum 22 caliper and all coniferous plantings shall be of a minimum 5 ft. height balled and burlapped. 6. Site improvements shall be secured per the Zoning Ordinance and subject to the phasing plan provided based on a three-year term, phase one being . complete in ine year, phase two being completed after two years, etc. 7. Compliance with the City Engineer's memorandum regarding this project. W qW Resolution M 77- 326 ID Page 2 FURTHER, that variances from Section 17, Subdivision 2, Paragraph 4d, side and rear parking setbacks, be granted based on the unusual shape of the parcel and petitioner's efforts to provide off-street parking well in excess of Zoning Ordinance require- ments to meet future needs. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor tnereot: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Seibold The r0II0W3Mg voted against or abstainW.
