The following members were present: Mayor Qilde. L'ounci_lmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The following members were sent: None Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 77-309 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for one new mowing/snow removal tractor for the City of Plymouth Equipment Center, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids received complying with the advertisement: Minnesota Toro, Inc. $7,300.00 Tri-State Toro Co. $9,146.00 go AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Minnesota Toro, Inc. of Plymouth. Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HERBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the purchase order with Minnesota Toro, Inc., of Plymouth, Minnesota for the furnishing of one new mowing/snow removal tractor according to the specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders deposits made with their bids except the deposit of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until the purchase order has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded ip by Councilman Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde.
