HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1977-281• CITY OF PLYNDM • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6_�_ day of June , 19 77 . The following members were present: Ma or i e ounce men Neils, Seibold and S aeth The following ers were sent: ounce man un R*� RAA AAA Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 77- 281 APPROVING REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 20 & FINAL WATER TREATMENT PLANT WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth, as Owner, and Berglund -Johnson. Inc. as Contractor, have entered into an agreement for the construction of a 13 million gallon per day pressure, iron removal, water treatment plant and all necessary appurtenances, said agreement being dated August 9, 1974, WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the final request for Payment, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. • That the original contract amount was $1,395,098.00; Change Orders 1-5 were approved in the amount of $ 4 making a revised contract amount of $1.399,946.53 & the value completed date is $ 1,399,946.53 2. That the work performed by the Contractor for Project No. 302 and certified to the Council by the Engineer as acceptable be and the same hereby is accepted as of June 6, 1977. The Contractor is hereby released from the Contract except as to the conditions of the Performance Bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and Correction of Faulty Work after Final Payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 20 and Final in the amount of $69,997.33 to , Berglund -Johnson, Inc. for Project No. 302, Water Treatment Plant, is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the fol owing voted in favor ereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Spaeth ine xouowing votea against or abstained: Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly ARR AAA RAA
