Pursuant to d4a call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of tt.e City of Plymouth, 11innesota, was held on tie 6th day of
June , 19 77 . The following members were present:

Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and movra
s adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 77-274
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS
DOWNTOWN PLYMOUTH AREA
PROJECT NO. 611
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 8th day of November, 1976, fixed
a date for a Council hearing on the following ir:provements:
1. The extension of a portion of the Northwest Sanitary Sewer Interceptor
between the following points: 37 to 38, 38 to 39, 39 to Vicksburg Lane,
38B to 38A, 38A to 38, 39 to Corm ty Road 9 (generally covering the area
. between Fernbrook Lane on the east, Vicksburg Lane on the west. County Road 9
on the north and T.H. 55 on the south providing trunk sewer and water service
to the South Half of the North Half of Section 16, the South Half of Section
16, and the portion of the North Half of Section 21 lying North of T.H. 55
and North of the Cavanaugh Ad4icion and Fox Meadows Addition) as shown on
the report on the Comprehensive Sewer Plan for Plymouth, Minnesota, dated
1973. Alternate B.
2. and the Construction of watermain trunk facilities on Vicksburg Lane from
T.N. 55 to County Road 9 (from approximately 1300 feet south of point 40
northerly to point 4P); between point 4Q southerly to T.H. 55 and on County
Road 9 between Vicksburg Lane and Niagara Lane (point 4P to 4Q) as shown on
the Report on Water Distribution for Plymouth, Minnesota dated 1972 and any
subsequent revisions thereto together with all necessary appurtenances
together with the construction of bituminous streets with concrete curb and
gutter for Niagara Lane, 32nd Aveaue North, 34th Avenue North in the proposed
plat of Plymouth Center,
3. the streets, sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer for the extension of
34th Avenue from the East line of the Plymouth Center Addition to Fernbrook
Lane.
AND WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications
of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon on the 13th day of
December, 1976, at which all persons. desi ring to be heard were given an opportunity
to be heard thereon.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MI14NESOTA:
Such improvements is hereby ordered as follows:

SANITARY SEWER
Phase I - The construction of the N.W. interceptor from its present
terminal at point 37 at the intersection of Fernbrook Lane
and 35th Avenue west and south to the interim lift station
at 32nd and Niagara Lane; lateral sewer on 34th Avenue from
the N.W. Interceptor west to Niagara Lane.
Phase II - Lateral sewer on Niagara Lane from 34th Avenue to 36th Avenue;
and on 36th Avenue from Niagara Lane to Vicksburg Lane.
WATERMAIN
Phase I - 18" watermain trunk on Niagara Lane from the south side of
T.H. 55 to 34th Avenue; lateral on 34th Avenue from Niagara
Lane east approximately 300 feet.
Phase II - 18" watermain trunk on Niagara Lane from 34th Avenue to 36th
Avenue; lateral watermain on 36th Avenue from Niagara Lane
to Vicksburg Lane; 12" trunk watermain on Vicksburg Lane from
the south side of T.H. 55 to 36th Avenue.
STREETS
Phase I - Niagara Lane from T.H. 55 to the north line of City Hall site.
a. grade full width for ultimate four -lane divided road
b. surface only 1/2 or two lanes
c. concrete curb and gutter on east side of road only
34th Avenue from Niagara Lane to east line of Post Office site
32nd Avenue from Niagara Lane to west line of Cavanaugh Addition
STORM SEWER
Minimum amount required to facilitate positive drainage in Phase I.
MTSCELLANEOUS
Pedestrian underpass at Niagara Lane north of T.H. 55
As outlined in the Preliminary Engineering Report, dated October, 27, 1976.
Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik 8 Associates, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer
for this improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of
such improvement.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Sae , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
